Hacker Pod2G Found Kernel and Root Land Exploits for iOS 5.1 Untethered Jailbreak
iOS hacker pod2g who is also a prominent member of the Chronic Dev team has just found two new exploits to untether jailbreak iOS 5.1.
pod2G regularly updates about his progress on iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak and recently he managed to bypass Apple’s iOS security called ASLR (Address Space Layout Randomization).
According to his latest tweets, he has found two new exploits in iOS 5.1. One of them is kernel land and the other one is root land.

News: a productive week-end. Found 2 big vulnerabilities. 1 kernel land and 1 root land.
Too bad I have to be secret again…
If you’re following all jailbreak news, it’s obvious that iOS 5.1 has been jailbroken untethered since a few weeks ago. Hackers are just waiting for the right time to release it to the general public. So when would that be? No one knows for sure but let’s hope that it will be soon!
