This is definitely a great news to those who have some programming experience and wish to develop their own jailbreak apps or tweaks.
The process of developing an app is made simpler with easy-to-understand Xcode interface.

The prerequisites of running iOSOpenDev are:
- Mac OS X 10.6.x or 10.7.x
- Xcode 4.x
- dpkg — provides dpkg-deb for building Debian packages, which you can install using MacPorts (http://www.macports.org)
The developer stated on their website that the current version 1.0.x is the first public release of this project. In other words, it’s very much a “post-alpha” version as there will be some bugs and issues.
If you’re ready to test drive this program, you can download it from here.
