Prominent iOS hacker pod2g has successfully ported iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak on his iPhone 4.
Pod2g has been one of the most active iOS hackers to date, having discovered huge kernel and root land exploits only a few days ago, and has probably implemented them into his iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1, now fully jailbroken untethered.
There are no expected release dates as hackers will need to kink out bugs and fixes which is their standard operating procedure before proper tools are released.
In the meantime lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that it will be released soon!
