MuscleNerd et al has just released Redsn0w 0.9.9b5 for Windows and Mac to jailbreak iOS 5 and also comes with a new feature called Custom IPSW.
Redsn0w 0.9.9b5 is a "hybrid" version that allows you to make custom IPSW to prevent your baseband from being updated. This is required for those who need to unlock their iPhones.
